Meet Dr. Margherita
Dr. Margherita is a life long New Jersey resident, growing up in North Haledon, New Jersey and attending Manchester Regional High School. He graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, from Fairleigh Dickenson University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1977. Dr. Margherita practiced family dentistry for five years and returned to receive his Masters in Orthodontics from Fairleigh Dickenson University School of Dentistry. In 1983 he opened both orthodontic offices in Hawthorne, New Jersey and Warwick, New York and has been successfully treating patients ever since.
Dr. Margherita takes pride in getting to know his patients and enjoys building personal and lasting relationships with them. “It is so rewarding to see, not only the transformation of their smiles, but how it transforms their self-esteem and self-image.”
Outside of his professional accomplishments Dr. Margherita and his wife Joanne have raised two sons. Joseph is a graduate of the Institute for Culinary Education in New York City, and Nicholas is currently attending college in North Carolina. In his free time Dr. Margherita enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoys the New Jersey shore in the summer and the mountains of upstate New York in the fall. He roots for his Georgetown Hoyas and New York Yankees and occasionally he can be seen driving his classic 1967 Pontiac GTO to car shows in the area.
